THE
FEAR OF LOOSING
Hi,
I hope everyone is doing well. So today I am back with with what will be my
third blog and I am not writing this with a very good and happy face on since
its somewhat drawn from a personal experience that happened very recently.
ALSO
IF YOU ARE A LITTLE SENSITIVE, I SUGGEST YOU NOT TO READ FURTHER.
Recently,
we lost a very good friend of ours who had been a part of our friends group for
quite some time. He was battling MND i.e. motor neuron disease for about 2
years before he finally passed away. He was the father of two of my close
friends. I haven't been to many funerals in my life or I think its better that I
say that I have been to none because usually I choose to stay back at home
while my parents attend those because I am not really strong when it comes to
things like these. Although, this time due to various reasons I had to go for
the memorial which wasn’t even the funeral but it made me tear up as soon as I
stepped there. It made me wonder so many things and I will share with you the
biggest thought that has been stuck in my head since. The question or thought
was that “DON’T WE SPEND OUR ENTIRE LIVES BEING SCARED OF LOOSING SOMEONE OR
THE OTHER?” Let me elaborate. There was a time when we were so small but we
were scared of loosing our friends and later it was about our grandparents
leaving us forever.. then sometimes the fear of loosing our parents scares us…
loosing our life partner scares us…. What I am trying to say here is that we
don’t know what is going to happen at what point of time but we are always
living in a fear of loosing someone who we truly care about. We never know what
tomorrow has in stock for us but even just thinking about what MIGHT happen
scares us. At least it scares me. Life is unpredictable and things happen. Its
not always a cake with frosting on top. People come and go every single day and
hence I think it is very important to take in the good moments, live them to
the fullest, love someone you love, don’t hate the people you are with because
we haven't got a lifetime to spend with people. Time is very limited. Some
people have more days some have less. We never know who has what. LIVE WELL.
LOVE WELL. TAKE ON THE GOOD MEMORIES, TRY TO BE IN THE GOOD MOMENT WHEN IT IS
HAPPENING.
Thank
you for reading my blog. This was something that I was just thinking of and I
put it down as well as I could. See you next time.
