5 THINGS WE SHOULD BE MORE GRATEFUL FOR.
I believe that the small things in life that we don’t
appreciate as much is what makes our life worth living. Here are 5 things that
I believe make my life worth living.
1.
The biggest thing we should be grateful for , no
matter how small or big it might be is a roof above our head, I don’t think we
realize how many people don’t have a place to go back to after their day is
over and just because we have it, we are not thankful and grateful enough. It
never matter how big your house is and what facilities it has that your
neighbor's house does not have. If I ever put you in a situation where after
you finish college you wont have a HOME to go to, do you realize how things will
fall apart for you?

The next thing I believe we should be eternally
grateful for is family. We all have issues, we all have problems but trust me “
BOYFRIENDS AND GIRLFRIENDS ARE GONNA COME AND GO BUT THIS? THIS IS FOR LIFE.”
By family do I mean each and every member of your whole family? I don’t think
we can do that but my FAMILY I mean our mom, dad, brothers, sisters and
grandparents. That is all I understand when I say the world family. I always
associate the word family with HOME because you feel loved, appreciated and
taken care of around them. People come and go from our lives but since day one
the only people who have been there with us throughout is our family and YOU
yourself.

The third thing for me would be FOOD on the
table. Growing up we have had everything given to us whenever we wanted it. Do
we appreciate it enough? How many times in our lives did we ever sit on the
table to eat and thanked god for the food that is we are provided with so that
we wont go to bed hungry and how many times did we pray for the ones who are
looking for food but have to go home hungry? I don’t think we do. I am about 20
years old now and I still get things ready for me on time but there is a 5 year
old kid somewhere who hasn’t had a full meal in days. If you think about it
like that? I think yes, we were born with a silver spoon. A silver spoon which
never ran out of the basic amenities of life.

The next thing is friends. The best part is as
you grow up you realize you cant be friends with everyone. You cant like everyone
and everyone cant like you but I I am very grateful for some of the good
friends I have made over the years and the friends I have now. Over time I have
realized that every time you meet new people you don’t have to be close to
everyone. There are always a few people who you just naturally vibe with and
you never have to pretend around them, you don’t have to hide from them, you
don’t have pretend to be someone else around them and I think those are the
only people worth calling friends.

And lastly something I am grateful for in life
that I don’t know how many people are is new experiences in life. I think I
have been grateful for that only recently because of everything I have been
seeing and experiencing. Experiences and Challenges are a big part of life and
I don’t think its wise to try to bypass them, I consider it wiser to face them
no matter how difficult they are because if you fail now you wont make the same
mistake next time and that’s how you
grow in life.
